BRASSBOUND HERO'S MARK ITEM 2
Uncommon • Invested • Magical
Price 30 gp
Usage worn (badge); Bulk —
An ancient dwarven champion's insignia, cast in dark brass and engraved with a broken shield and an outstretched hand. The mark grows warm when its bearer intervenes on behalf of an ally. Its surface carries an obsolete maker's stamp associated with Barak Thuld.
Activate—Stand Beside Me [free-action]
Frequency once per day
Trigger You hit an enemy with a melee Strike, and at the moment of the hit that enemy is within reach of one of your allies who is within 15 feet of you.
Effect Choose one such ally. The ally gains 2 temporary Hit Points. These temporary Hit Points last until the start of your next turn. Temporary Hit Points from this activation do not stack with other temporary Hit Points; use the higher amount as normal.
Special This is an item activation, not a Strike, reaction, ikon, or transcendence. It doesn't move your divine spark, change your action economy beyond its own activation, or modify the triggering Strike's damage. Any creature can invest and use it; its protective theme particularly suits an exemplar.
GM Placement: Dwarven guard kit in the Lower Works, or an heirloom tied to Barak Thuld. This is a custom homebrew permanent item, not published Paizo equipment.
