Cedar Court envoys sometimes offer these charms to those who have earned the trust of their forest.

Effect You tune the charm to living vegetation within 30 feet. The GM gives you one brief sensory impression—such as a scent, sound, flash of color, or emotional echo—associated with a significant disturbance involving that vegetation during the past 24 hours. This impression may suggest a direction, an intrusion, fire, bloodshed, or unnatural corruption, but never provides precise words, a creature's identity, or a guaranteed answer to a specific question. At least one living plant must be present within range; a dead timber beam alone is insufficient. The GM determines what the plants could have experienced. This is a magical divination effect, not communication with a creature or a spell.
Special The charm provides no bonus to Nature checks, no additional apparition, and no additional spell slot. Any creature can invest and use it; its theme is particularly appropriate for an animist.
