Stillwater Step Anklet

UncommonInvestedMagical

Price 30 gp

Usage worn (ornament); Bulk —

A narrow anklet of braided river-reed and burnished copper carries three pale-blue glass beads. Each bead rings silently when its wearer sets a foot down without disturbing dust or water.

Activate ◆ (1 action)

Frequency twice per day

Requirements You have invested and are wearing the anklet, are unarmored, and can Step.

Effect You Step up to 10 feet instead of the usual 5 feet. This is a Step, not a Stride; you cannot enter difficult terrain with it unless you can normally Step into that terrain.

Limitations This activation doesn't grant a second action, a bonus Strike, or extra movement from Crane Stance.

PF2e Remaster · Monk class feat

Monk

Requirements You are a monk and are unarmored.

Item benefit While you have invested and are wearing this item, you gain the feat's benefits if you meet its class requirements. The benefit does not stack with the same feat.

Effect You can enter Crane Stance with one action. While in the stance, you gain a +1 circumstance bonus to AC, but your Strikes must be crane wing unarmed attacks (1d6 bludgeoning, agile, finesse, nonlethal). Your High Jump and Long Jump DCs are reduced by 5, and you Leap 5 feet farther horizontally or 2 feet higher vertically.

Limits You must follow normal stance restrictions and cannot combine incompatible stances; this doesn't increase your unarmed proficiency.

PF2e · Rank-1 cantrip

Item activation 2 actions; Frequency at will; Requirements wearing the invested item. The item casts the spell at rank 1 without requiring its wearer to be a spellcaster.

Traditions Arcane, Occult

Cast 2 actions

Range 30 feet

Duration sustained

Effect You conjure a spectral hand to move a single unattended object of light Bulk or less within the spell's range. Sustaining the spell lets you reposition the object within the spell's normal limits. The hand cannot perform complex tool work, attack creatures, or manipulate an object held by another creature.

The item casts this cantrip at rank 1 only; it doesn't heighten automatically. The linked WG entry supplies the complete spell rules.

Special The item requires investment. Its feat benefit is class-specific; the custom activation and spell require no additional class features beyond their stated requirements. It grants no new class resources. The custom activation's daily uses belong to the item and never reset when it changes hands.

GM Placement A river monastery's trial course, or a cedar-lined chest in the Sanctitude Saunas.

Custom homebrew permanent item.
