Party Size Scaling

Party Size and Action Economy

The adventure supports 4–7 level-1 PCs. The standard encounter budget is based on four characters. Additional PCs increase the budget, but the XP award remains the listed four-character award.

Threat4 PCs5 PCs6 PCs7 PCsAdjustment per Extra PC
Low60 XP80 XP100 XP120 XP20 XP
Moderate80 XP100 XP120 XP140 XP20 XP
Severe120 XP150 XP180 XP210 XP30 XP

For large parties, add enemies, independent devices, or separate objectives. Do not give one boss extra turns under a single stat block unless the extra initiative is represented by a separate hazard or creature.
