H2 — Rook's Debrief

What Rook Admits

Rook planned to replace part of the extraction squad, take the twins during a blackout, and disappear into the mine network. She knew Helix Meridian would kill its own personnel to protect the research, but she did not know the purge was already armed or that the mercenary crew had been marked as disposable.

She accepts responsibility without asking forgiveness. She offers the safehouse, FF contacts, and all recovered intelligence, but she will not surrender the twins or her surviving people to the corporation.

Possible Party Responses

ResponseEffect
Accept Rook as an allyShe leads the FF survivors but treats the party as operational equals.
Keep her under watchShe cooperates; one FF specialist stays with the party as liaison.
Reject her leadershipThe FFs maintain the safehouse while the party controls the escape plan.
Attempt to hand over the twinsThe twins refuse, Trust falls to 0, and the FFs become openly hostile unless the party backs down.
