12 — Watch Tower

This 45’ tall tower has all of the usual defensive devices. It houses six men-at-arms in chain mail (AC 5) with bows and swords, 6 others in leather and carrying shields (AC 6) and pole arms (F 1, hp 4 each, #AT 1, D 1-6, ML 10), and the captain of the watch [statistics 1]. The captain lives on the first floor (with the usual furnishings, but he has a silver flagon and tankard worth 750 g.p.). He is known to carry quite a bit of money with him (20 platinum pieces, II gold pieces, 8 silver pieces), although the soldiers have only small coins (2d6 silver pieces each). The second and third floors are barracks for the men-at-arms. The upper story holds a supply of 200 arrows, many rocks, 2 barrels of oil, and 24 spears.
