Folded into the parcel with the reagent bundles
For My Fellow Practitioners
Thank you for your business. Five reagent bundles is no small order, especially with supplies being what they are, and I appreciate knowing they are going into the hands of people who understand what they are carrying.
I have packed each bundle separately. Between them you should find a respectable assortment of dried herbs, mineral salts, fungal cultures, oils, resins, charcoal, glassware, and the other ordinary necessities that disappear from an alchemist's bench faster than anyone expects.
Keep the fungal cultures cool if you can, keep the salts dry, and do not let anyone store the quicklime beside an open waterskin. I mention that last one because apparently it must always be mentioned.
The five bundles represent 5 gp worth of common alchemical raw materials. Use them for whatever preparations your work calls for. Good ingredients are wasted when they sit on a shelf.
If you find anything unusual in your travels—sap, spores, strange growths, discolored timber, or anything else that makes an experienced alchemist stop and look twice—bring me a clean sample rather than guessing at it in the field. Preferably in glass. Preferably sealed. Preferably not leaking.
Safe travels, and try to return at least some of the bottles.
