Good cutting north of the road. Carver's crew brought in eleven sound trunks before midday and six more before rain. River running high enough to move the lot when Sella's people arrive.
Smith requests another barrel of charcoal. Two picks and an iron wedge returned for repair from the maintenance crew. Charge against site upkeep.

Thirty-seven logs marked for Karland, nine retained for camp use. Mill taking everything we can send.
Increase the standing lamp-oil order. Add chain fittings, two pulley blocks, drainage pipe, and heavy rope under site stabilization. Invoices to be checked against the separate delivery receipts before payment.

Three requests for transfer off night maintenance. Two approved for river duty; replacement names entered on the rotation sheet.
Late meals to continue at the usual count. These are working shifts, not additional watch posts.
8 Arodus

Bunkhouse floors to be scrubbed. Workers to leave dirty equipment outside the sleeping rooms.
