At the eastern meadow, the forest wall is too straight to be natural. A concealed door is worked into the roots and old stone, visible only from this side or to someone who has learned how the paths have been rearranged. The latch bears a worn House Vhalek mark beneath layers of moss.

Discovery: Perception or Survival can reveal the seam; searching after the Tormonshilds’ warning makes the discovery automatic. The door opens onto the hidden route into Act 1 · S1-E2 — The Counterweight Gallery.

Transition: Once the party passes through, the glade’s sounds fade behind them. The next space is built stone, moving iron, and the first clear sign that the mansion’s lower foundation is still operating.
