Main
Background: Lyra grew up in the streets of Caliphas, running messages for the Undermarket — a thieves' guild with a code of honor. She left after her mentor was murdered by a rival who used necromancy. She hates undead and those who create them, but she's also fascinated by the Boneyard — she wants to know what happens to souls after death, especially the souls of people she has loved.
Goals: Destroy the Veilbreaker (she sees it as the ultimate necromancer). Learn what happened to her mentor's soul. Prove that halflings can be heroes, not just thieves.
Personality: Cheerful, irreverent, deeply loyal to friends. Makes jokes when nervous. Steals small things as a reflex (she returns them, usually). Has a soft spot for underdogs.
Hook: Lyra's mentor, Fingers Malone, was killed by a necromancer. She suspects the necromancer was working for the Veilbreaker. If she learns the truth in the ossuary, her worldview will shift.
