Background: Thornwick was the companion of Old Merton, the village's best shepherd. When Merton became an echo, Thornwick refused to leave his side. The wolf now follows the party, perhaps sensing that they can end the haunting and let Merton rest.

Personality: Loyal, brave, occasionally disobedient when he smells danger. Loves cheese. Hates the undead.
