The Fisherman's Plea

Old Tharn, a grizzled fisherman in his seventies, approaches the party with wild eyes and trembling hands. He claims to have seen a face beneath the water — not a human face, but something older and more alien.

He pleads with the party to investigate the lake's shallows, where he has seen strange lights and heard voices calling his name.
