Durin is a gruff dwarf with a missing ear and a talent for ancient runes. He came to New Lhesper seeking the ruins of old Lhesper, where he has found fragments of what he believes are "dwarven seal-work" — signs that the Rift dwarves were involved in something ancient beneath the lake.

What He Knows:

The Rift dwarves of Eartheart had dealings with the Shaarans in ancient times
They were involved in "sealing something" — something dangerous
The runes he has found speak of "seven keys" and "a prison beneath the water"
He believes the yuan-ti are searching for these keys

Reward: Information about the Emeralds and the prison.
