Durin Stonebeard

Durin Stonebeard is a gruff dwarf with a missing ear and a talent for ancient runes. He came to New Lhesper seeking the ruins of old Lhesper, where he has found fragments of dwarven seal-work.

He is an exile from Eartheart, driven out by political enemies. He believes the Rift dwarves were involved in sealing something beneath the lake — something that may be waking up.
