Traits

Magic Resistance. The shadowfang has Advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Cunning Action. On each of its turns, the shadowfang can use a bonus action to take the Dash, Disengage, or Hide action.

Sneak Attack. Once per turn, the shadowfang deals an extra 3 (1d6) damage when it hits a target with a weapon attack and has Advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of the shadowfang that isn't incapacitated and the shadowfang doesn't have Disadvantage on the attack roll.

Reactions

Uncanny Dodge. When an attacker the shadowfang can see hits it with an attack, the shadowfang can use its reaction to halve the attack's damage against it.

Shadowfangs are the silent, deadly scouts of yuan-ti war bands. They strike from ambush, poison their blades, and vanish back into the undergrowth before their victims can cry out. They answer directly to the purebloods and are utterly loyal to their serpentine masters.
