Act 2 — The Gilded Cage

Following the trail of the stone markers, the party is led to the Pulgari Estate (Point 2) and the Desolation Blade Mounts (Point 6). This act revolves around the corruption of ancient magic and the economic hubris of the Kalistocrats. The party must enter the Pulgari Estate to prevent the portal to Hell from opening fully, and contend with the celestial archon Ambithas. In this act, the party will have to choose between aligning with the celestial forces of Ambithas or striking a bargain with the devils to gain power. The Desolation Blade Mounts will reveal the history of the Macridi Blade culture and the 'Pale Hand' prophecy that binds the fate of the forest.
