Adventure Summary
Life in Kridorfrost depends upon a single bridge. For centuries, merchants, pilgrims, explorers, soldiers, and riverfolk have crossed the ancient structure that towers above the Noyrus River. No one truly remembers who built it, only that it has stood longer than any kingdom that claims it.
Recently, however, something has changed. Workers repairing the bridge have disappeared. Unexplained sinkholes have opened beneath its foundations. Odd fragments of black stone have begun appearing where they should not. Rumors spread quickly through the taverns and markets, but no two stories agree.
Whether you arrive seeking fortune, protecting a caravan, pursuing knowledge, or simply looking for honest work, you'll soon find yourselves drawn into events that no one expected. The first choices you make beneath the bridge may determine the fate of far more than a single frontier town.
The Journey Ahead...
No one can say where your adventure will ultimately lead. Legends, old maps, sailors' tales, and forgotten histories all point toward places that few modern travelers have ever seen.
Your journey may take you...
- ...south to the bustling city of Kridorn, where merchants, spies, and pirate captains all compete for influence.
- ...to the isolated sea fortress of Citadel Allatro, standing watch over dangerous waters and ancient trade routes.
- ...through the deadly volcanic channels known as the Razored Labyrinth, where experienced sailors still vanish without explanation.
- ...across the storm-tossed waters of the Castrovin Sea, following forgotten charts into unexplored regions.
- ...to the legendary ruins of Ninshabur, whose shattered stones predate nearly every nation now standing.
- ...into the forgotten Cyclopean ruins of Koloran, where impossible architecture still challenges modern understanding.
- ...along hidden waterways and abandoned ports whose names survive only in weathered journals.
- ...to lonely islands inhabited by strange peoples, ancient guardians, and creatures long believed to be myths.
- ...beneath the world itself, where the deepest secrets are said to sleep in eternal darkness.
Every expedition raises new questions. Every discovery uncovers another mystery. The choices your party makes—and the allies you earn along the way—will shape how the story unfolds.
Some legends are best left buried. Others are waiting for heroes brave enough to uncover the truth.
