The outpost is a collapsed tower deep in the Boarwood, once used by scholars to study the covenant's magical properties. It has been ransacked, but hidden compartments remain.

Discovery (DC 16 Perception): A sealed chamber contains ancient manuscripts detailing the covenant's creation, a map of the Root-and-Star Road, and evidence that the Gray Gardeners have been here recently.

Reward: The manuscripts provide a +2 circumstance bonus to checks made to negotiate with the Silver-Tusked Guardian.
