Shrine of Erastil
A Quiet Place Outside the Wall
A modest wooden shrine stands beyond the northern palisade, surrounded by a ring of stones and weathered offerings. Carved antlers frame a simple image of Erastil. Wooden tokens, arrowheads, family names, and little bundles of grain have been left by generations of workers.
The shrine predates much of the current camp and should feel personal rather than ominous. It is evidence that people built lives here, prayed for safe work, and expected to return home.
If the party is watching for Macridi's missing fey couriers, a dented brass Macridi message tube lies beneath a fallen offering stone. It bears both the settlement seal and the sigil of one of the three courts.
The tube is enough to count as reliable evidence that one courier reached the vicinity of Reiver's Right. It does not reveal the fate of the courier or resolve the wider silence of the courts.
This clue is intentionally embedded in normal exploration rather than presented as a separate sidequest encounter.
Religion or Nature DC 15: The ground immediately inside the old stone ring shows less visible black-sap growth than the surrounding forest floor. The shrine is not a cure and should not become a major ward; it simply suggests that old boundaries and old promises may still matter in the Palakar.
