Requirements

A licensed Foundry v14 installation, a PF2e 8.6.1+ world and access to the Foundry User Data directory.

Install in Foundry

  1. On Foundry's Setup screen, select Add-on Modules → Install Module.
  2. Paste the following Manifest URL, then select Install:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/edmund-landgraf/foundry-wanderersguide-import/main/manifests/amba-bridge.json
  1. Launch your PF2e world as GM. Under Game Settings → Manage Modules, enable AMBA Bridge and save.

Foundry shows an update button for the module when a newer release is published.

Alternative: install manually

  1. Download or clone AdventureMakerByAct from GitHub.
  2. Find foundry/amba-bridge/ inside the repository.
  3. In Foundry Setup, open Configuration → User Data Path and stop the Foundry server/app.
  4. Create Data/modules/amba-bridge/ inside User Data and copy module.json, scripts/, styles/ and lang/ from the bridge directory. The file Data/modules/amba-bridge/module.json must be at that exact level.
  5. Restart Foundry, launch your PF2e world as GM and enable AMBA Bridge in Game Settings → Manage Modules.

Configure and publish

  1. In Configure Settings → AMBA Bridge, set AMBA base URL to https://amba.unwhelm.online or your reachable local API origin (normally http://localhost:3101 on the same client machine).
  2. Optionally set PF2 Search base URL (default http://localhost:3333), Use creature art for tokens (off by default: numbered letter tokens) and Import PC tokens (without WGUI) (off by default).
  3. Create a Foundry publish job in AMBA and copy its one-time jobId:token handle.
  4. In Foundry's Scenes sidebar, choose Publish from AMBA, paste the handle, and publish.

Verify and update

Confirm that the Scene and related documents appear. Re-publishing the same job should update existing items rather than duplicate them. For upgrades, use the module's update button in Setup (manual installs: replace the module files and restart Foundry).

Limits

This is not continuous two-way Foundry-to-AMBA sync. The module is installed on the Foundry host, not separately by players.
